Desktop Support - CONTRACT
Salary: $40 - $45 p.h.

The Role
The purpose of this position is to support the successful delivery of the organisation's Windows 11 upgrade and device refresh programme while ensuring a high standard of desktop support across the business. The role involves deploying and configuring new devices, migrating users to Windows 11, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing Level 1 and Level 2 support to minimise disruption to end users.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being onsite, working directly with users, and guiding them through device replacement and upgrade activities. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with Windows environments will be essential for success.
Your Profile:
- Proven experience in Desktop Support within enterprise Windows environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10/11, including planning and delivering operating system upgrades.
- Experience with endpoint device management and user device setup.
- Experience with device swaps, laptop/desktop builds, peripheral setup, asset tagging, and coordinated user handovers.
- Ability to support hardware refresh projects including device swap, imaging, and user handover.
- Confident customer service and excellent communication skills in face-to-face onsite environments
