Desktop Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and
troubleshoot Windows OS (Windows 7/10) and Microsoft Office (2007–2022, O365).
Provide support for desktops,
laptops, printers, and other peripherals in workgroup and domain environments.
Perform hardware
troubleshooting and replace components like RAM, HDD, SMPS, motherboard, etc.
Install and troubleshoot
applications, antivirus software, and resolve malware/virus issues.
Configure and troubleshoot
Microsoft Outlook and email-related problems.
Provide L1 and remote support
using tools like Any Desk, TeamViewer, VNC, etc.
Handle basic networking issues
(LAN/Wi-Fi/IP configuration).
Maintain IT assets and
inventory records.
Support Active Directory tasks
such as user creation, password resets, and access issues.
Perform preventive maintenance
of IT equipment.
