DevOps Engineer
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a
long-term platform engineering programme focused on onboarding and supporting
applications in Kubernetes-based environments. The role is delivery-oriented
and involves close collaboration with development teams to ensure applications
are properly deployed, automated, and maintained across environments. This
is a hands-on engineering role focused on building scalable, repeatable DevOps
processes rather than pure support.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Work with application teams to onboard applications into Kubernetes
environments
- Define and document integration requirements across development,
testing, and production
- Implement application and middleware configurations ensuring
correct integrations
- Provide technical guidance to development teams on cloud and
platform capabilities
- Prepare environments using scripting and automation
- Co-create and manage application deployment processes
- Collaborate closely with development teams in Agile delivery
environments
- Work with internal teams including security, middleware, Linux, and
change management
- Support scalable and
repeatable platform engineering practices
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles
- Strong practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, and Jira
- Experience with GitOps approaches and ArgoCD
- Experience onboarding applications, ideally Spring Boot or frontend
systems, into Kubernetes
- Experience with scripting or coding in Java, Bash, or Python
- Ability to work with a wide range of open-source tools and cloud
technologies
- Strong collaboration

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud

- Broader experience in platform engineering or
automation
