DevOps Operations Engineer
You will own the overall production environment, maintain AWS infrastructure, automate releases and CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Docker, manage monitoring and incident response, maintain blockchain nodes and RPC services, and build dashboards and alerts for large-model API token usage and costs. You will also use AI tools for log triage, script generation, and small-scale automation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain AWS environments including EC2, VPC, ALB, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, and Route53
- Handle resource provisioning, upgrades, backups, permissions, and routine changes
- Build and maintain release pipelines with GitHub Actions and Docker
- Enable repeatable releases and clear rollback procedures
- Automate manual tasks with scripts and configuration
- Build and manage monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or a managed alternative
- Respond to incidents, restore services, and document root causes and solutions
- Deploy and upgrade blockchain nodes and RPC services
- Manage node disks and snapshots
- Implement basic rate limiting and protection for nodes and RPC services
- Build dashboards and alerts for large-model API token usage and costs
- Use AI tools for log triage, script generation, and small-scale automation
Requirements
- At least 3 years of operations or DevOps experience
- Hands-on proficiency with AWS, including VPC networking and IAM permissions
- Strong Linux fundamentals covering networking, disks, processes, logs, and performance troubleshooting
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Ability to write Python or Bash scripts
- Experience with Terraform or a similar infrastructure-as-code tool
- Experience using AI tools in daily work
- Ability to monitor API usage and costs
- Ability to cover operations, security, costs, and toolchains in a small team
- Clear written communication and ability to collaborate asynchronously across time zones
