Dinarys is an Ecommerce Development Company helping retailers, brands, and manufacturers across DACH, the UK, and the US build, scale, and optimize their digital commerce solutions.
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer / System Administrator to join our team and help us build, maintain, and improve reliable infrastructure and internal IT systems.
In this role, you’ll work primarily on DevOps, infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, cloud services, and development environments, while also supporting the company’s internal IT infrastructure, corporate devices, networking, and user access.

About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer / System Administrator, you’ll work closely with our Engineering teams to improve infrastructure reliability, deployment processes, automation, monitoring, and development workflows.
You’ll also take ownership of key internal IT operations, including corporate devices, networking, VPN, user accounts, and technical support.

What You’ll Do
DevOps & Infrastructure
Design, maintain, and improve infrastructure supporting development and production environments.
Manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure and servers.
Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Manage Docker-based environments and containerized applications.
Support application deployments and improve deployment reliability and repeatability.
Automate infrastructure and operational processes using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Administer and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Configure and maintain networking components required for applications and infrastructure.
Manage reverse proxies, load balancers, and web servers such as Nginx or Traefik.
Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Investigate infrastructure incidents, identify root causes, and implement preventive improvements.
Monitor system performance, availability, resource utilization, and infrastructure health.
Participate in infrastructure architecture and technical decision-making.
Work with development teams to improve application deployment, scalability, reliability, and operational processes.
Contribute to improving infrastructure security and access management.
CI/CD & Development Infrastructure
Maintain and improve automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
Manage development, staging, and production environments.
Support developers with local and shared development environments.
Maintain configuration management and environment variables.
Improve deployment workflows and reduce manual operational tasks.
Troubleshoot failed builds, deployments, and infrastructure-related application issues.
Help establish and maintain consistent development and deployment practices across projects.
Monitoring & Reliability
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and applications.
Work with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar solutions.
Monitor application and infrastructure logs.
Investigate incidents and performance issues.
Participate in root cause analysis and post-incident improvements.
Identify potential infrastructure risks before they impact projects or users.
Help improve system availability, reliability, and recovery processes.
Internal IT & System Administration
Maintain and support the company’s internal IT infrastructure.
Administer Linux and macOS environments.
Support corporate laptops, workstations, and peripherals.
Maintain an accurate inventory of corporate equipment in Snipe-IT.
Diagnose hardware issues and coordinate repairs or replacements.
Support Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, GitHub, and other corporate SaaS platforms.
Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions.
Follow the principle of least privilege when granting access.
Manage corporate VPN access and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Support the company’s office network infrastructure.
Administer MikroTik routers and Ubiquiti Wi-Fi equipment.
Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and general connectivity issues.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
Security & Access Management
Implement and maintain basic security controls across infrastructure and corporate IT systems.
Manage access to servers, cloud environments, development tools, and corporate services.
Monitor and review privileged access.
Maintain secure authentication and access practices.
Support disk encryption, endpoint protection, OS updates, and other baseline security requirements.
Ensure access is promptly revoked when employees leave or change roles.
Contribute to infrastructure security improvements and vulnerability remediation.
Documentation
Maintain up-to-date infrastructure and system documentation.
Document CI/CD pipelines, environments, infrastructure configurations, and operational procedures.
Maintain network diagrams and internal IT documentation.
Create troubleshooting guides and runbooks for recurring operational issues.
Document infrastructure changes and important technical decisions.

What We’re Looking For
3+ years of commercial experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, System Administration, or a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration.
Practical experience with Docker and containerized environments.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with scripting and automation using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar.
Understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and production-related issues.
Understanding of application and infrastructure security best practices.
Experience supporting development teams and working with software engineers.
Experience administering macOS environments is a strong advantage.
Hands-on experience with MikroTik and Ubiquiti is a strong advantage.
Experience with Google Workspace administration.
Familiarity with Snipe-IT or another IT asset management platform.
Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure-related tasks.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher.

Nice to Have
Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud infrastructure and networking.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch).
Experience managing reverse proxies (Nginx, Traefik).
Knowledge of GitOps practices.
Experience with secrets management and security scanning.
Experience with MDM solutions (Jamf, Microsoft Intune).
Familiarity with SSO and identity providers (Okta, Google Identity)
