DevSecOps Tech Lead
Summary
Lead Wix's Internal Platform Engineering DevSecOps team, driving technical vision for high-scale cloud infrastructure across multi-K8s environments. Core stack: Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), Terraform/Terragrunt/Helm, AWS/GCP/Azure, CI/CD GitOps, Python, plus modern security tooling (SIEM, EDR, Firewalls) and AI-driven automation.
Join Wix’s Internal Platform Engineering (IPE) team as a DevSecOps Tech Lead! In this role, you’ll lead a talented team of engineers, driving the technical vision and execution of high-scale cloud infrastructure. You’ll ensure security, resilience, and automation are integral to our engineering culture, while pioneering the adoption of AI-driven tools.
In your day-to-day, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the technical skills of the DevSecOps team
- Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to design scalable and secure distributed systems, evaluate planned changes, and architect infrastructure blueprints
- Build and automate multi-K8s environments, microservices, and internal infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm
- Implement a security-first approach, integrating CI/CD pipelines (GitOps) and secure-by-design infrastructure
- Drive the adoption of AI-driven solutions for automation, monitoring resilience, incident response, and threat intelligence
- Oversee modern cybersecurity solutions (SIEM, EDR, Firewalls) and application security frameworks

- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SecOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or mentoring role
- In-depth understanding and production experience with Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), Docker, and Helm
- Extensive knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and expertise in IaC tools like Terraform and Terragrunt
- Proven experience with modern CI/CD methodologies and GitOps (Git)
- Strong development experience in Python. Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript – an advantage
- Production experience on Linux-based infrastructure and strong networking foundations (TCP/IP, DNS, Load-balancers)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Hebrew
An advantage if you have:
- Experience securing AI/LLM pipelines or utilizing AI tools for automated operations
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and writing security procedures, policies, and compliance frameworks
