Direct Support Professional MH-AM

Self-Direction DSP - Fulton Ny Area (Job #MH-AM)

Indera is seeking compassionate, energetic and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)to work with a friendly individual in the Fulton area. He enjoys spending time outdoors especially magnet fishing and playing Pokémon Go.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation out in the community activities and appointments
• Support independent living skills
• Ensure health and safety needs are met
• Engage in recreational and social activities in the community
• Maintain consistency with scheduled days and hours

Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM and Fridays 2pm-4pm

Pay rate: $22 per hour

There is mileage and staff activity fee reimbursement

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility with assignments and scheduling
• Ability to use technology and mobile apps in the community
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred, not required)

Additional Requirements

• Background check
• Fingerprinting
• DMV record check (conducted prior to hire)
