Our 50-unit residential apartment building isn’t just housing — it’s a launchpad for Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH). As a program of Accessible Space, Inc. (ASI), Line Drive is a purpose-built sanctuary for those who have served our country and those overcoming physical challenges. Our community is home to both veterans who have experienced homelessness and adults living with physical or cognitive disabilities. Residents transition here after receiving initial care and stabilization at the CARES campus, living in a space that balances independence with 24/7 supportive resources. Our culture is one of unwavering respect and relentless support.
We are seeking part time Direct Support Professionals to assist with personal care, homemaking and independent living services for the residents of Line Drive Apartments.
The Direct Support Professional responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, homemaking and independent living services as outlined in the services plan
- Create written records and maintain forms
- Contribute to the service plan based on results of the assessment and goals
- Communicate resident information to case managers, physicians, social workers, community workers, clinical consultants, and family members when authorized and appropriate
Direct Support Professional Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Effectively communicate in English orally and in writing
- Ability to lift and transfer, using proper body mechanics, adults weighing 100-200 pounds in a safe and consistent manner, using mechanical lifts where needed
- Follow direction and communicate effectively with supervisor, co-workers, and clients to permit efficient and effective site operations and to meet resident care needs
