District Manager

The District Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and operational success of one or more offices, overseeing up to 50 associates (subject to change). This role ensures exceptional customer service, compliance with company standards, achievement of service level agreements, and consistent delivery of CorVel's quality services. The District Manager is accountable for staffing, employee development, performance management, budgeting, profitability, and business growth, while providing coaching and oversight to managers and their teams. The role has ultimate responsibility for district results, work quality, and all talent management activities, including hiring, development, corrective action, and terminations.

This is a hybrid role.

Candidate residing in the Atlanta metro area is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overall operational performance of assigned office(s)/location(s), including but not limited to: recruiting, hiring, associate performance, quality of service provided, customer satisfaction and results
  • Set District objectives, establish policies and procedures to assure compliance to best practices, state and local regulations, as well as client service requirements
  • Ultimate responsibility for District performance: must understand all positions within the District and lead District employees to achieve performance goals
  • Ensure highest level of customer service to all clients; conduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports
  • Evaluate and recommend continuing professional education of office personnel
  • Monitor and improve efficiency of office operations
  • Accounts Receivable: responsible for all aspects of collections in conjunction with the respective operations management
  • Assist with sales calls and service expansion on potential and existing customers
  • Responsible for management of dashboard reports
  • Ensure District employees' adherence to company policies
  • Lead by example: provide support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance and protect operations by keeping sensitive information confidential
  • Function as an exemplary local corporate neighbor/partner
  • Must be able to travel overnight to attend meetings
  • Additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide superior service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire others
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 4 years' experience in one or more of the following areas required:
    • Working as TPA (Third Party Administrator) handling Workers' Compensation claims or liability claims
    • Managing nurses at a case management company
    • Managing an insurance claims office
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated progressive leadership experience preferred

PAY RANGE:

CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $83,494 - $139,002
