District Manager

At Gill’s Point S, our District Managers play a critical role in supporting our stores, developing our people, and driving the success of our business. This position provides leadership and guidance to multiple locations, partnering closely with Store Managers to build strong teams, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and achieve operational and financial goals.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, people-focused leader who understands the tire and automotive service business and knows what it takes to run a successful store. They are comfortable balancing multiple priorities, analyzing business performance, coaching leaders, and turning opportunities into action. This role requires someone who can build strong relationships at every level of the organization while holding teams accountable to expectations and results.
As a multi-unit leader, the District Manager is responsible for developing Store Managers and helping them grow their teams and their businesses. This position serves as a resource, coach, and point of escalation while ensuring stores are aligned with company expectations, processes, and strategic goals.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to Store Managers and their teams across the district.
- Develop and mentor Store Managers to strengthen leadership skills, team performance, customer service, and overall store results.
- Partner with Store Managers to identify opportunities, establish priorities, and create actionable plans to improve performance.
- Monitor key business metrics, including sales, P&L, labor, payroll, inventory, budgeting, and cost controls.
- Review store performance regularly and hold leaders accountable for achieving operational and financial goals.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled store visits and inventory counts to ensure operational accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure stores are providing a consistent, high-quality customer experience and addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Serve as a point of escalation for customer, employee, and operational issues, working with Store Managers to identify solutions and prevent recurring issues.
- Participate in leadership meetings and effectively communicate company initiatives, expectations, and priorities to Store Managers and their teams.
- Ensure company processes, safety standards, and operational procedures are consistently followed.
- Partner with Store Managers to identify staffing needs, support recruiting efforts, and develop strong teams.
- Assist with store operations as needed and provide hands-on support during periods of increased business activity or staffing needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase sales, control costs, and strengthen overall store performance.
- Travel regularly throughout the assigned market to support and evaluate store operations.
