Drafter (Doors & Ironmongery)

Job description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Drafter to support our construction projects by producing accurate technical drawings related to doors and ironmongery. In this role, you will collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to ensure all drawings and documentation align with project specifications, standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, revise, and maintain CAD drawings for door schedules and ironmongery layouts.
- Interpret architectural floor plans, specifications, and construction documents to produce accurate technical drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams regarding drawing updates, revisions, and project requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing files, document control, and version management.
- Assist with BIM and Revit modelling tasks as required.
- Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and delivered within project deadlines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) year of experience in construction drafting, technical drafting, or CAD modelling.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction drawings.
- Experience or familiarity with door hardware, ironmongery, and related specifications is an advantage.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively within project teams.
