Job Title: Draftsman/Designer

Reports To: Engineering Lead

Exemption Status: Exempt

Normal Shift / Working Hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekends will be

required as deemed necessary by departmental demands.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD design of sheet metal fabrications. This role involves creating detailed drawings and controlling documents for use on the production floor.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Create Technical Drawings: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed drawings and plans for products based on specifications.
• Collaborate with Professionals: Work closely with team members to incorporate design requirements and ensure accuracy in drawings.
• Revise and Update Drawings: Review and modify existing drawings to meet project specifications and standards, ensuring all necessary information is included.
• Conduct Site Visits: Gather data and verify that design specifications are being met during the manufacturing process.
• Maintain Documentation: Organize and manage project files, including drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
