Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Duty Manager to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. As a Duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences in our dynamic hospitality environment.

  • Lead and inspire the front office team, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused atmosphere
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency across all departments
  • Manage guest relations, addressing concerns and enhancing overall satisfaction
  • Coordinate with various departments to maintain seamless communication and operations
  • Monitor and optimize room rates, occupancy levels, and overbooking strategies to maximize revenue
  • Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to improve performance and motivation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards
  • Handle emergency situations and make critical decisions when necessary
  • Prepare and analyze reports on key performance indicators
  • Continuously seek ways to improve guest experiences and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and empathetic approach
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Proficiency in front desk operating systems (e.g., Opera) and understanding of GDS
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick, assertive decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Financial acumen for managing rates and overbooking strategies
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus

  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift
