Criteria

Essential criteria

1. Ability to deliver day-to-day operation of a Data Centre: Rack management and cabling experience. Co-ordinate with vendors for maintenance, upgrades and compliance. Monitor system performance and utilization through various systems including vROPs and EcoStruxure DCE/DCO. Enforce security and best practise frameworks to ensure the best possible uptime.

2. Demonstrated ability in delivery of Data Centre upgrades around AC and UPS. Including: Demonstrated knowledge of, or ability to undertake research and anslysis of, current market offerings Ability to provide informed and technically sound insight into pros and cons of differing systems and technologies

3. Ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures.

4. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff.

Desirable criteria

1. Working knowledge of Government security frameworks up to a Protected level. Specifically, regarding Essential 8 and the PSPF.
