Electrical Design Engineer
- Design low and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial buildings.
- Design low current systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial buildings.
- Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, and cable routing plans.
- Specify and size electrical equipment such as switchgear, distribution boards, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and lighting control systems.
- Design internal and external lighting systems, ensuring compliance with lux levels, energy efficiency, and emergency lighting regulations.
- Integrate building services systems with BMS (Building Management Systems) and smart technologies.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant national and international standards.
- Conduct load calculations, voltage drop, and fault level analysis.
- Work closely with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers to align electrical design with architectural and structural constraints.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
- Proficient in electrical CAD tools, REVIT and design softwares.
- Solid knowledge of electrical and building regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
