Electrical Engineer (Hardware)
Corvid's growing portfolio of products for aerospace and weapon systems continue to create opportunities for hardware oriented Electrical Engineers. Corvid's products typically require electronic systems (embedded, real time, safety critical, etc.) in GNC, Safety Devices (ESAD/EISD), RF Sensors, Flight Termination Systems, Data Links and other components that perform unique functions in highly regulated environments. Engineers in this role will bring expertise in circuits (digital, analog, optical, RF, etc.) to help understand system requirements, design components, fabricate and test prototypes/first articles.
This opportunity will shape early concept development while working on products through prototyping, testing, and ultimately production. Successful candidates will enjoy technical challenges, often requiring multi-discipline collaboration and solutions, that result in quality products that meet performance requirements. Responsibilities may include:
- Design of analog, power, digital and RF Circuits for various electronic systems
- Testing and qualifying electronic components for regulated environments (RCC, MIL-STD, JOTP, etc.)
- Actively contributing to an agile development team using requirements driven design and verification processes
- Provide expertise related to electronic systems and their integration into overall system development (and ultimately production)
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related STEM discipline) and at least 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in analog, digital, and mixed signal design hardware with a preference for experience in highly regulated environment (RCC, MIL-STD, JOTP, etc.)
- Experience with schematic capture, PWB, and circuit analysis tools (Altium, LTSpice, Matlab, etc.)
- Fundamental knowledge of electronic product design, test, and integration (including troubleshooting) from concept through production
- Preferred candidate will have experience developing or integrating firmware and associated tools
