DESCRIPTION
EHR Manager
The EHR Manager, under the limited supervision of the IT Administrator, is responsible for the coordination and completion of complex projects involving the planning, design, implementation and ongoing improvement of the Behavioral Health HER.
OCHIN Epic Site Specialist – Grant County Health Department
The Epic Site Specialist for the Grant County Health Department will collaborate with current key employees and OCHIN technical staff to implement and understand workflows, make configuration/design decisions, clinical policy considerations, and assist with project coordination and site readiness. Understanding the many different OCHIN Apps and how they affect clinical staff and clients.

The EHR Manager works under the general direction of the IT Administrator.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides oversight and guides work processes in managing the Behavioral Health EHR.
• Builds and enhances working relationships and workflows with the EHR vendor, CCS analysts, business department, QA specialist, IT, clinical staff and administrators.
• Assists with billing, front office and analyst EHR work as necessary.
• Identify EHR inefficiencies, propose solutions and implement changes upon approval.
• Creates and provides EHR training for staff.
• Works with project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.
• Performs data analysis in support of clinical improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates patient care data to ensure that care is provided in accordance with guidelines and standards.
• Research and disseminate new information relevant to clinical programs.
• Respond to pertinent requests for information by other organizations and clients through mail, phone,
or email.
• Assists, if necessary, in the development of agency QA plan.
• When requested, work with the IT Administrator or Executive Director in the development of new programs specific to providing data to inform said development.
• Perform work related to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) related to problem solving, data development, training, and informal IT issues.
• Assist in upkeep of CCS clinical forms.
• At the direction of the IT Administrator, distribute stakeholder satisfaction surveys and compile to measure satisfaction of consumers.
• Assists or at times may lead in responsibility for collecting and submitting required reports to payers in a timely manner.
• Provide all information in a timely and professional manner.
• Help build Epic specific to organizational needs, such as creating new Epic users, provider records, fee schedules, letter templates, connecting and troubleshooting printers and workstations, as well as supporting colleagues.
• Will work directly with the Grant County Health Department staff to troubleshoot any Epic related issues, add new staff and workstations to Epic, map printer destinations, and assist the Public Health Director when needed.
• Provides support to IT staff to assist with hands on issues that cannot be handled remotely. Example would be resetting networking equipment, setting up hardware and connecting to the network so IT staff can finish the task remotely.
• Continually monitor updates to be current in all OCHIN Apps.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned.
