Email Marketing Automation Specialist
You will own the planning, creation, execution, and analysis of email and SMS marketing programs. You will set up campaigns and automations, build and refine templates, write persuasive copy, QA and schedule sends, and use customer behavior data to personalize messaging. You will monitor performance, run A/B tests, analyze results using SQL and analytics tools, and recommend improvements. You will initially work full time from the office until workflows are established, after which you may work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a list of email strategies including flows and unique campaigns
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on client projects
- Set up, test, and deploy campaigns within clients' email platforms
- Create and refine email templates
- Segment and maintain email lists
- Create automations and drip sequences
- Report on and analyze deployed campaign performance
- Write email copy
- Produce and execute email and SMS campaigns including building emails from templates and HTML, coordinating assets, QA, and scheduling
- Use customer web behavior data to drive message and content personalization
- Continuously identify improvements through new technology, tools, partners, trends, and best practices
Requirements
- Proven experience managing an email marketing program
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms
- Detailed knowledge of international email regulations and compliance such as GDPR and CASL
- Proven experience growing, engaging with, and analyzing large email marketing databases
- Experience building email marketing campaigns from scratch
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS
- Experience with A/B testing and CMS
- Experience using SQL or similar query languages to analyze data
- Proficient in data analytics and interpretation to suggest improvements
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM
- Fluent English
