We are looking for an Engagement Manager who thrives at the intersection of client delivery and commercial growth. This is a hands-on role, where you will spend approximately 50% of your time working directly with clients, advising and delivering within digital transformation initiatives. The remaining time will be focused on business development, sales collaboration, and shaping NNIT’s R D offerings. You will operate across domains such as, Regulatory Affairs, Safety and Clinical, acting as a connector between domain experts, clients, and NNIT’s sales organization, ensuring we translate market needs into impactful solutions and tangible business. This role is ideal for someone who wants to own and develop client relationships end-to-end — from identifying opportunities and shaping proposals to delivering high-quality consulting engagements. Your Responsibilities as Engagement Manager in R D You will join an international team of highly skilled consultants across Regulatory, Clinical, and Safety, working with leading pharma and biotech companies across Europe. Your key responsibilities include: Lead hands-on client engagements (≈50%) Deliver advisory, implementation, and optimization services within digital transformation programs across Regulatory, Safety and Clinical. Act as a trusted client advisor Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and guide them on technology adoption, process optimization, and strategic direction. Drive commercial growth in close collaboration with sales Proactively identify opportunities, shape client dialogues, and work closely with NNIT’s sales organization to convert pipeline into revenue. Own and support presales activities Contribute to proposals, RfPs, and Statements of Work, ensuring high-quality and competitive offerings. Shape and evolve NNIT’s R D service offerings Translate market trends and client needs into scalable consulting, implementation, and managed service offerings. Position NNIT as a leading EU advisory partner Contribute to thought leadership, industry engagement, and strategic positioning in the life sciences market. Represent NNIT externally Participate in conferences, client events, and speaking engagements to strengthen NNIT’s market presence. Your Qualifications and Experience: MSc degree in Life Sciences, Business, IT, or similar 8+ years of experience in life sciences consulting (large or boutique consultancy preferred) Proven track record in combining client delivery with business development Strong experience with presales, RfPs, and SOW creation Solid understanding of digital technologies in life sciences, particularly within Regulatory Affairs and/or Clinical Experience driving digitalization and process optimization initiatives Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to engage at senior levels A hands-on, commercial, and proactive mindset with high ownership. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. German is a plus.
