Engineering Maintenance Manager
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Manager to join our organization in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. You will manage a team of maintenance professionals while developing and implementing comprehensive maintenance strategies that align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Lead, supervise, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime
- Analyze equipment performance data and maintenance metrics to identify trends, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency
- Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and allocate resources effectively to support operational needs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry-specific requirements across all maintenance activities
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external service providers to procure parts, services, and specialized maintenance support
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment and facilities to assess maintenance needs and identify potential risks
- Prepare detailed maintenance reports, performance reviews, and recommendations for senior management
- Implement and maintain computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant tracking tools
- Establish and enforce maintenance protocols, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize operational disruptions
- Identify training needs and provide onboarding and professional development opportunities for maintenance staff
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in maintenance management or a similar supervisory role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or industrial equipment systems
- Proven experience in team leadership, staff management, and performance evaluation
- Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning software
- Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and risk management practices
- Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost control, and resource allocation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
- Experience working in the United Arab Emirates or Middle Eastern industrial environment (preferred)
- Certification in maintenance management, reliability engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Project management experience and skills (preferred)
- Advanced technical certifications or specialized equipment expertise (preferred)
