Engineering Manager Capital
You will lead development of the Capital product, own its technical roadmap, guide Issuing architecture and technical decisions, build a high-performing engineering team, manage execution with product partners, address technical debt, and shape features around client and market needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the technical roadmap for the global Issuing proposition
- Act as the technical leader and domain expert for Issuing
- Drive technical design and solutions
- Coach and mentor the engineering team
- Manage performance and professional development
- Work with Product Managers to manage project goals and timelines
- Address technical debt and enforce engineering best practices
- Understand client needs, the financial services industry, and the broader market
- Propose new features and shape product direction
Requirements
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Experience building, retaining, and growing high-performance engineering teams
- In-depth knowledge of building and scaling API-based financial services
- Technical knowledge of Java, Postgres, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and Elastic
- Strong execution skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to lead complex projects involving multiple teams and external partners
- Strategic thinking
