Engineering Manager Debit Card Payments

You will lead a team of software engineers building the Debit Card Payments platform in NORAM. You will develop payment strategy, coach and mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, partner with Product Managers, and help deliver scalable and reliable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Author the Debit Card Payments strategy in NORAM
• Lead and develop a team of software engineers
• Coach and mentor engineers
• Partner with Product Managers to translate business priorities into scalable technical solutions
• Guide architectural discussions
• Champion high engineering standards
• Empower engineers to own technical solutions end-to-end

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
• 7+ years of experience in software development
• Software engineering experience with large-scale distributed systems
• Java or similar backend technology experience
• Experience leading and developing software engineering teams
• Experience with payment systems or the cards payments ecosystem
