Engineering Manager

You will lead and grow the Data Platform and Governance squad, manage the performance and development of 5–10 engineers, deliver reliable data pipelines, storage, and modelling, establish data governance and quality standards, and enable accessible data for AI and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the engineering culture and build psychological safety
• Own the performance and development of 5–10 engineers
• Deliver reliable data pipelines, storage, and modelling
• Define and raise data governance and quality standards
• Partner with the Insights and Data team on infrastructure and analytics boundaries
• Ensure data is structured, accessible, and ready for AI initiatives

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience as an Engineering Manager
• Experience leading engineering teams
• Experience in data engineering, data platforms, or data infrastructure
• Ability to balance people management and delivery
• Comfort defining a mission and end-state in an evolving environment
• Clear communication with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
