Enterprise Architect And Solution Architect

Job Description

Designs and governs enterprise technology architecture solutions across the IT landscape, ensuring technology investments are aligned with business requirements, scalable, secure, and interoperable across infrastructure, applications, and data platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Solution architecture design and diagrams (HLD, system architecture, integrations)
• Solution architecture document (SAD / design specification) covering end-to-end architecture, components, and decisions
• Business and technical requirements alignment artifacts (BRD, functional and non-functional requirements)
• Solution roadmap and implementation plan including phases, milestones, and delivery approach
• Architecture decision records (ADR) and trade-off analysis covering design choices, risks, and assumptions
• Proof of concept (PoC) and validation artifacts to test feasibility of key components
• Design end-to-end technology solutions covering infrastructure, integration, data, and application layers
• Develop architecture blueprints, solution design documents, and technical specifications
• Ensure solutions comply with architecture standards and security policies
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, platforms, and vendors to address business needs
• Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) and pilot initiatives for emerging technologies
• Maintain the technology roadmap in coordination with the CTO and Head of Technology Services
• Define and maintain enterprise architecture standards, patterns, and guardrails
• Review and approve solution designs from project teams to ensure architectural alignment
• Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB) for significant technology changes

Requirements

Education and certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or engineering.
Certified in TOGAF 9/10 (preferred), Azure/AWS Solutions Architect, ITIL 4 Foundation.

Experience:
Minimum of 8–10 years in IT with 4+ years as a solution or enterprise architect.
Proven experience is a must.

Technical skills and knowledge:

• Enterprise architecture frameworks: TOGAF or equivalent
• Cloud architecture: Azure and/or AWS
• Integration architecture: APIs, ESB, event-driven design
• Security-by-design principles
• Retail technology landscape: ERP, POS, WMS, e-commerce
