Position Overview:


The Epic Inpatient Application Analyst plays a key role on OCHIN’s Epic Product Team, contributing to the strategy, design, and optimization of the Epic Inpatient product suite. This role provides subject-matter expertise, informs best-practice workflows, delivers system enhancements, and supports organizational initiatives including Gold Stars, Honor Roll, and Epic Upgrades.


Requirements

  • Minimum of at least 5 years of experience as an Analyst,
  • Current certification in the assigned Epic application(s) ClinDoc and Orders
  • Nice to Have Certifications: HOD, ASAP, Bugsy, Stork, Long Term Care, Rehab, Rover, Wound Care
  • Work history in Healthcare IT is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in system application build
  • Strong understanding of Inpatient workflows, analytics and technology.
  • Experience with building system application packages and moving through multiple environments.
  • Strong understanding of various clinical functionalities for Community Connects, Critical Access Hospitals, and Rural Healthcare.
  • Strong communication skills – able to communicate with both application and technical team members, as well as end users.
  • Consistently acts with integrity and accountability.
  • Process and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution oriented.
  • Prior to moving forward to the team interview, all candidates are required to complete a 50–60-minute competency assessment. The assessment gives us insights into how your strengths, preferences, and work style align with the OCHIN's nine core competencies. It’s not about passing or failing—it’s about understanding fit and setting you up for success.
