Events and Outreach, Community Programmes and Engagement Assistant Manager / Manager (Full-Time, 2-Year Contract)

About the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC)

The Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is the national sports association for disability sport in Singapore. As a registered charity and Institution of aPublic Character (IPC), SDSC develops and advances disability sport from grassroots participation through to high performance and international representation.

We believe sport should be accessible, enjoyable and meaningful for everyone. Through sport, we empower persons with disabilities to participate, build confidence, develop friendships and achieve their potential.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a people-oriented, energetic and resourceful programme builder to join our Community Programmes team.

Your primary portfolio will be PlayTogether, SDSC's kids club initiative for children with disabilities and their families. You will lead the planning, development and delivery of this weekend programme— creating fun, inclusive opportunities for children to play, move, make friends and grow in confidence.

Your secondary portfolio will include volunteer management and/or supporting other community programmes such as SwimTogether, depending on your strengths and the needs of the team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being around people and is comfortable turning ideas into action. You may be planning a programme one day, speaking with a parent the next, recruiting volunteers, coordinating coaches and then rolling up your sleeves to make sure everything runs smoothly on the ground.

SDSC is a dynamic organisation, and our programmes and priorities evolve over time. While PlayTogether will be the primary portfolio for this role, responsibilities may be adjusted or rotated from time to time based on organisational needs, programme priorities and the individual's strengths and development. The roleholder may therefore have opportunities to support or take on other community programmes and initiatives across SDSC.
