Expert Project Manager (PMO) - SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS)
Summary
PMO Project Manager role for SAP Enterprise Cloud Services, owning IT project execution across cloud infrastructure initiatives. Drives backlog management, risk reporting, and stakeholder transparency using JIRA and Agile/SAFe methodologies while leveraging Azure, GCP, and AWS hyperscaler experience.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
- Direct contributor within existing Backlog process, emphasis on further streamlining and continuous improvement proposals
- Ownership of Project execution to cover top business and innovation priorities
- Manage Project lifecycle according to agreed methodology, within defined budget, timeline, scope and quality, safeguard Project status thru risk management methods
- Tracking of execution of approved Project plan with focus on timeline and deliverables availability for further technical validation
- Report on Progress on various levels (status and transparency with dev teams, management reporting, stakeholder reporting)
- Risk management and Risk reporting for Project assigned within the scope
- Acting as a part of virtual PMO team for CTO Technology and
- Architecture area collaboration with peer Project managers to identify synergies, collaborate on prioritization for overall group
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Extensive background in IT Project management (various methodologies)
- Experience with Software development methodology is huge advantage (e.g. SAFe)
- Can-do attitude and strong execution focus
- Previous experience working with JIRA highly desired
- Previous Governance / Continuous Service improvement related experience
- Experience with business requirement gather and specification, definition of MVP and further Product increment beneficial
- Hands-on experience with all major Public Cloud Providers as of huge advantage (Azure, GCP, AWS), certification in any technology aspects beneficial but not mandatory
- Broad knowledge of Infrastructure automation tools and approaches based on various environments (DC / Public cloud / Private Cloud)
- Quick learner and self-starter, accountable for assigned scope with ownership feeling
- Experience with mediation / stakeholder management and negotiations skills desired
- Good organizational and communication skills on various levels, attention for details
- Communicating in English fluently is a must
Good intercultural background and awareness as of global nature of the organization is beneficial - Experience working in a matrix organization beneficial.
