Export Manager
Market Strategy & Development:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify high-potential countries, consumer trends, and viable sales channels within the Gulf and Africa.
Develop and implement a robust export business plan and sales strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Analyze market competition, pricing, and product positioning to ensure a competitive advantage.
B2C Channel Development (Primary Focus):
Identify, negotiate with, and launch sales through key B2C channels.
Explore and develop direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales models where feasible.
Manage online product listings, pricing, and promotions to drive B2C sales volume.
B2B Business Development (Secondary Focus):
Identify, vet, and establish relationships with potential B2B partners, including distributors, wholesalers, and specialized retailers in target markets.
Negotiate partnership agreements, including terms, pricing, and volume commitments.
Sales & Operations Management:
Manage the entire export sales cycle from lead generation and initial contact to negotiation, closing deals, and post-sale follow-up.
Handle all pricing calculations, prepare quotations, and process proforma invoices.
Act as the primary point of contact for all international clients and partners.
Logistics & Compliance:
Independently manage all aspects of export logistics and the supply chain, including liaising with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents.
Ensure all export documentation is prepared accurately and complies with international trade laws and regulations of the destination countries (e.g., Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB).
Stay updated on trade agreements, tariffs, duties, and customs procedures relevant to the target regions.
Reporting & Financials:
Track and manage international payments, ensuring compliance with company policies and secure payment methods (e.g., Letter of Credit, Telegraphic Transfer).
Provide regular, detailed reports to the CEO on sales performance, market penetration progress, pipeline activity, and key market insights.
Manage the export budget and monitor expenses.
Requirements
A minimum of 5-7 years of proven success in an export sales or international business development role.
Essential: Demonstrable experience and a strong network within the Gulf (GCC) and/or African markets.
Proven experience with a mix of B2C and B2B sales models. Specific experience with e-commerce export is highly advantageous.
Experience working independently or in a small team where a hands-on approach is required is critical.
Skills & Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end export process, including international trade terms (Incoterms), export documentation, customs procedures, and logistics management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across different cultures.
Strong business acumen and the ability to think strategically.
Proficiency in market research and data analysis.
Digitally savvy, with experience using CRM software, MS Office Suite, and online sales platforms.

Education & Languages:
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
