Facade Designer

We are hiring Façade Designer

The Designer will be responsible for the engineering of projects from concept and schematic design through construction — this includes project reviews at all stages of design.

Requirements

• Preparing structural layouts, calculations and reports.
  
• Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and solutions; leading on issues where appropriate.
  
• Represent in meetings with current or prospective clients.
  
• Perform site visit surveys, as needed, to document and evaluate existing structures and determine engineering strategies.
  
• Visit project sites during construction, as needed, for review of quality, progress and compliance with specifications and standards.
  
• Review of approval and manufacturing drawing packages.
  
• Development of typical details, specifications, and drawings.
  
• Keeping abreast of industry and technology advances and trends; recommending changes in approach and services as appropriate.
  
• Continuous improvement of structural engineering design processes and manufacturing.
