Facility Manager (all genders)

As a Facility Manager (all genders), you will support the building services team in carrying out repairs and inspections on our building systems. With manual dexterity and technical understanding, you will take on general facility management tasks and, together with your colleagues, ensure that our building technology runs perfectly at all times.

WHY THE ROLE IS EXCITING FOR YOU

In this role, you can expect varied tasks with diverse perspectives:

• With your manual skills, you will carry out minor repairs on our technical systems and work equipment. You will install components, make changes to workstations, and perform operational checks and inspections on technical systems.

• Act as a contact person for external companies and accompany external colleagues during their work in our logistics center. Carry out general renovation work at the site and support your team with larger tasks.

• Keep yourself independently informed about processes and technologies in building services and continuously expand your technical knowledge and manual skills. Be helpful and ask your team how you can best support them.

Location

Our European logistics network is growing: We are currently in the preparation phase for the opening of our new site in Gießen (Hesse), which is located just one hour from Frankfurt am Main. The 130,000 square meter, state-of-the-art logistics center is operated by Zalando and is designed for up to 1,700 employees. From this location, customers in Germany and neighboring markets will receive their packages starting in the summer of 2026.

Our logistics employees ensure that more than 50 million Zalando customers in more than 25 European markets receive their orders reliably every day. Today, Zalando has a Europe-wide logistics network with twelve locations in seven countries. In Germany alone, around 6,000 employees from over 100 nations work at four Zalando logistics sites.
