Job Summary:
Viking Cruises is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) to join a fast-paced environment focused on collaboration, execution, and developing process automations. The SFA is responsible for delivering accurate, timely operational data reporting by leveraging tools such as Excel, Power Query, and Alteryx. Gain hands-on experience managing and optimizing enterprise financial systems, including OneStream, D365 F&O, and Alteryx, while partnering with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and scalable reporting solutions.
Financial Data Analytics is at the center of Viking's accounting and finance technology ecosystem, giving you direct exposure to the systems, processes, and stakeholders that drive the business. You'll gain hands-on experience with industry-leading platforms including OneStream, D365 F&O, Alteryx Server, and emerging AI technologies while helping shape how accounting processes evolve. This is a hybrid position based in our Woodland Hills, CA office. You will be required to adhere to our hybrid work policy, working from our office Monday and Thursday plus one additional weekday on a weekly basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build, analyze, and deliver the operational and financial reporting that drives key business decisions, leveraging Excel, Power Query, Alteryx, and emerging AI-enabled tools while developing expertise in process automation and data analytics
- Gain hands-on experience with leading enterprise finance platforms, including OneStream and D365 Finance & Operations, by learning system configurations, developing reporting solutions, creating data snapshots, and becoming a key contributor in the rollout of new capabilities across the organization.
- Take a leadership role in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enterprise system enhancements and upgrades, partnering with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and business functions to validate requirements, improve processes, and drive successful implementation of new solutions.
- Develop expertise in enterprise application security, governance, and deployment processes while building a strong understanding of internal controls, risk management, and compliance within a SOX-regulated environment.
- Expand your knowledge of IT General Controls (ITGCs) and audit compliance through direct involvement in quarterly and annual audit activities, collaborating with internal and external auditors and preparing critical audit documentation, including Information Provided by Entity (IPE) support.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives that modernize finance processes, providing opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies, influence system improvements, and contribute to the future state of financial reporting and data management.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Analysis, Finance Systems, IT Audit or a related field
- Experience with data analysis/process automation tools such as Excel, Power Query, Alteryx, or similar technologies
- Strong aptitude for analyzing data, identifying process improvement opportunities, and developing scalable solutions
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Accounting, Finance, and Technology teams
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work successfully in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of D365 F&O, OneStream, or other ERP/EPM platforms a plus
