Finance and Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary
Our client is a well-established pawn shop business providing short-term loans and financial services to the community. They are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Supervisor to manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support compliance with tax regulations. The role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of finance processes, and the ability to supervise and support the accounting team.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare documents for monthly and yearly account closing.
- Verify monthly closing balance reports and bank reconciliation statements.
- Manage and control company fixed assets.
- Assist in preparing monthly tax declaration reports for submission to GDT.
- Prepare monthly financial statements for the Assistant Manager/Manager.
- Collect and prepare documents for the Tax Agent for annual TOI.
- Collect and prepare documents for External Auditors for financial statement audits.
- Verify, monitor, and record cheque loan settlements; prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Prepare daily and weekly loan operation reports for management.
- Control and update monthly company liabilities (AIP).
- Monitor AIR from new and existing loans daily.
- Follow up on customer repayments and update records daily.
- Verify and authorize all daily transactions in the system.
- Check daily cash book entries (cash inflow and outflow).
- Provide support and assistance to the team with priority tasks.
Main Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in financial services or pawn shop industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of Cambodian tax regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
