Finance Manager
Our client, a well-established MNC, is looking for a Finance Manager to head up its regional accounting and reporting function. You will drive month-end closing, governance, and controls, and help improve processes across the region.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accounting records comply with group policies, local statutory requirements, local GAAP and IFRS
- Oversee timely and accurate month-end closing and quarterly corporate reporting
- Ensure compliance with group policies, local tax and statutory requirements, and manage internal and external audit processes
- Maintain documentation and records in line with group and local statutory guidelines
- Liaise with tax agents and authorities on annual tax computation, GST reporting, and tax queries
- Monitor regional cash flow, optimise cash and loan positions, and ensure accurate cash flow forecasting
- Serve as the regional escalation point for accounting process and system issues, coordinating resolution across finance and IT
- Lead process harmonisation, standardisation, and automation initiatives, including documentation, training, testing, and change management
- Ad hoc projects
Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy, CPA/CA qualification preferred
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, ideally with regional exposure
- Strong ERP knowledge with hands-on GL, AP and AR experience
- Strong ownership mindset, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel
