Financial Controller
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports with detailed analysis, outlining trends, weaknesses and recommendations for corrective action.
- Participate as a member of management and advise on the financial, administrative and legal implications of matters under review.
- Develop and maintain orderly accounting systems in accordance with generally accepted accounting standards.
- Oversee subordinate performance to ensure tasks are completed properly and efficiently.
- Review and authorise necessary vouchers, including payment and journal vouchers.
- Prepare and analyse financial planning for both short-term and long-term periods, including annual budgets and variance investigations.
- Manage cash flow and fund planning to optimise liquidity and financial stability.
- Strictly adhere to established internal control and safety systems to ensure financial data reliability.
- Foster teamwork and efficient departmental operations through effective leadership and communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, CMA, or ACCA is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in hotel accounting or hospitality finance within a 4-star hotel chain or international property with 264+ rooms.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency with hotel accounting systems, PMS, POS, and finance software, plus advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Solid understanding of tax regulations, statutory reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of USALI (Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry) is advantageous.
