Fleet Operations Manager

We are hiring a Fleet Operations Manager to oversee fleet operations, maintenance, and performance for heavy trucks, loaders, forklifts, and other heavy-duty vehicles. The role focuses on ensuring fleet reliability, minimizing downtime, controlling maintenance costs, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily fleet operations and ensure equipment availability and efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance and inspection plans.
• Supervise workshop activities, spare parts inventory, and repair processes.
• Monitor fleet utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with safety, transportation, and environmental regulations.
• Investigate breakdowns and accidents and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and develop fleet operations and maintenance teams.
• Coordinate with logistics, operations, procurement, and safety teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in fleet management, maintenance, or logistics.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong experience with heavy trucks, loaders, forklifts, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of workshop management, maintenance planning, and spare parts control.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, budgeting, and reporting skills.
• Very good command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems.
