Floor Plate Manager

Steel Warehouse has an opportunity for a Floor Plate Program Manager at our South Bend, IN

facility. The position requires managing and maintaining all aspects related to business needs

of the customer including problem solving, forecasting, pricing and margins, strategizing on

improving sales, placing mill purchase reqs, assignment of FP to orders, and scheduling specific

equipment related to floor plate.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain pricing formulas for all fabricators and OEM on the program

* Monitor margins and look for areas to improve

* Monitor percent of shipments from each SW location as compared to the full program tons

* Hold monthly review meetings with the VP of Corp Sales to review and update on the status

of the specific programs. This includes tons, forecasts, pricing, margins and mill sourcing.

* Ensure MC buckets and deals are maintained and updated

* Police deals to ensure compliance with the agreement's tons and pricing.

* Strategize on ways to improve tons and margins

* Assigning steel to orders to ensure inventory FIFO and minimizing scrap.

* Scheduling specific equipment to ensure timeliness on deliveries

* Placing mill purchase reqs in a timely fashion to account for mill lead times to insure continuous steel supply.
