Job Purpose:

Manage the annual racking system inspection program across operations, ensuring the integrity, safety, and compliance of storage systems. Coordinate inspections, maintenance activities, risk management, budgeting, and document control to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and operational needs. Act as the focal point for rack inspection governance, maintenance planning, risk tracking, and reporting, ensuring all inspections and corrective actions are completed within budget and agreed timelines.

Your tasks:

  • Plan and coordinate annual pallet racking inspections across all operations, liaising with site teams and external inspection providers to ensure inspections are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain the annual inspection schedule, monitoring progress and proactively addressing potential savings, delays or compliance risks.
  • Prepare cost estimates and maintenance forecasts for racking system repairs and remediation activities identified during inspections.
  • Manage the lifecycle of identified rack safety risks, including the registration, monitoring, mitigation, closure, and removal of risks in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain and update risk registers, dashboards, reports, and other tracking tools to provide visibility of compliance status and maintenance progress.
  • Consolidate annual inspection and maintenance requirements and communicate budget forecasts to each operation, ensuring adequate financial planning for the upcoming fiscal year.
  • Monitor maintenance execution and follow up on corrective actions to ensure identified deficiencies are addressed within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure all inspection reports, maintenance records, risk assessments, certificates, and compliance documentation are current, properly filed, and maintained in the designated repositories and corporate systems.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and evidence of compliance related to pallet racking inspections and maintenance activities.
  • Analyze inspection results and maintenance trends, providing recommendations to improve rack safety, asset reliability, compliance performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Real Estate, Procurement, HSE, and external vendors to ensure effective execution of inspection and maintenance programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to rack safety management, compliance processes, reporting, and documentation standards.

Your profile:

Education Level

  • Vocational Certification
  • English - Intermediate

Experience Level

  • More than 2 years plus Vocational Certification
  • Or a graduate with a bachelor's degree
