The Food & Beverage Outlets Manager will lead the day-to-day operation of our outlets, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and memorable guest experiences. This leader will foster a culture of accountability, mentorship, and professional development while inspiring colleagues to deliver genuine service that exceeds expectations. Working closely with the Culinary team and hotel leadership, the Outlets Manager will bring fresh ideas that enhance the guest experience, drive revenue, and position our outlets for continued success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the daily operation of all assigned food and beverage outlets while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies focused on financial performance, colleague engagement, and guest satisfaction.
Mentor, coach, and develop supervisors and colleagues by providing regular feedback, performance coaching, career development opportunities, and recognition that supports Hyatt's culture of care.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and empower colleagues while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.
Demonstrate strong administrative leadership by effectively managing payroll, scheduling, labor productivity, forecasting, reporting, inventory controls, purchasing, and departmental budgets.
Analyze financial and operational performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement action plans that drive revenue growth and operational efficiencies.
Partner with Culinary leadership to introduce innovative food and beverage concepts, promotions, and memorable guest experiences.
Implement and support food and beverage sales and marketing initiatives to increase outlet visibility and profitability.
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, beverage execution, cleanliness, and service consistency.
Ensure compliance with Hyatt brand standards, Department of Health regulations, food safety practices, Utah liquor laws (DABS regulations), and all company policies and procedures.
Resolve guest concerns professionally while creating service recovery opportunities that build guest loyalty.
Establish, maintain, and continuously improve operational processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices that enhance departmental performance.
Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication, operational efficiency, and an exceptional overall guest experience.
