Forward Deployed Engineer
About the Role
This is a founding engineering position at an early-stage agentic integration platform serving the real economy. You'll own core systems end-to-end — agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime — working directly alongside the founders to shape the entire product from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Own and evolve core systems end-to-end: agent orchestration platform, cloud infrastructure, and the integrations runtime.
Set the engineering patterns and architectural foundations that every future hire builds on.
Ship to production constantly, iterating rapidly alongside the founding team.
Help shape the overall system architecture and technical direction in your first year.
What We're Looking For
2–9 years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally at a high-growth or technically rigorous environment.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript; comfort across the stack including frontend (React) and backend services.
Experience with infrastructure and cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes) and production-grade systems.
Familiarity with durable execution patterns, agent orchestration, or integration platforms is a strong plus.
Comfortable working with PostgreSQL and modern runtimes (e.g. Bun, Effect-TS).
Self-directed and ownership-oriented — someone who thrives in an early-stage, high-autonomy environment.
Strong CS fundamentals and a track record of building and shipping reliable systems.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 USD annually
