Founding Product Manager
About the Role
This is a founding PM role at a seed-stage B2B SaaS company building software and AI-powered back-office tools for trades and home services SMBs. You'll own product direction end-to-end — from understanding user problems to shipping solutions — and help define how product work scales as the team grows. It's a high-ownership, low-ceremony role with direct impact from day one.
What You'll Do
Own the full product lifecycle: discovery, prioritisation, scoping, and shipping.
Translate company goals into clear product bets, priorities, and tradeoffs.
Work closely with engineering to scope and ship features quickly and iteratively.
Make product decisions with incomplete data and course-correct as needed.
Develop deep understanding of users, their workflows, and real-world constraints.
Bring clarity to the team on what is being built, why, and what "done" means.
Help shape how product work is done as the company scales.
Operate in a fast, high-velocity environment with few meetings and direct feedback.
What We're Looking For
End-to-end product ownership experience in fast-paced, early-stage environments.
AI-native mindset: hands-on experience applying AI-first product patterns and using AI tools in product development.
Strong technical understanding — able to reason about systems, constraints, and engineering tradeoffs.
Experience collaborating closely with engineers to scope, design, and ship features.
Domain experience with crafts, trades, home services, or SMB-focused products is a strong plus.
Good product taste and clear opinions on what makes a product great.
Attention to UX and UI detail, even without a formal design background.
High agency: you take ownership, push things forward, and don't wait for permission.
Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and correcting course quickly.
Fluent in both German (spoken and written) and English — both are required.
Side projects or things you've built independently are a strong plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: €80,000 – €100,000 per year. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site, five days a week in Berlin-Mitte, Germany.
