Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between the finance department and other business units, ensuring strategic alignment and resource optimization.
- Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports, including revenue forecasts, profitability analyses, and cost models.
- Analyze the P&L, providing commentary on variances versus budget and offering insights to optimize results.
- Prepare financial reports for presentation to local and global company leadership.
- Develop and monitor key financial metrics that directly impact business performance.
- Support financial planning, budget preparation, and monthly forecast reviews, ensuring process accuracy and relevance.
- Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Actively participate in strategic meetings and present financial insights to the company leadership team.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in financial processes and implement effective solutions.
- Participate in various company projects involving Finance, business units, or People (e.g., implementing BI tools, custom dashboards, etc.).
- Deliver ad-hoc business performance reports.
Technical Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience with financial analysis tools.
- Advanced Excel.
- Solid knowledge of Financial Planning, budgeting, and performance/investment analysis.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-experts.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage relationships across different areas.
- Ability to lead projects and initiatives.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Strategic mindset and critical thinking skills to solve problems and make decisions based on broad information sets.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- MBA or Master's degree is a plus.
Work Experience:
- Experience in Corporate Finance, specifically working in Financial Planning.
- Experience with digital businesses, particularly subscription models, is a plus.
Languages:
- Advanced / Fluent English (Will be used daily)
