Fragrance Development Manager
As Fragrance Development Manager, you will beresponsible for defining and managing product development and innovationstrategies to deliver winning solutions to Robertet’s customers in ASEANmarket.
Job Description
- Support the fragrance development function for the ASEAN region – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam
- Manage fragrance development projects for major key accounts in the region
- Develop category plans in partnership with internal customers / stakeholders to ensure that fragrance strategies align with overall business objectives
- Manage and support a team of evaluators, with clear development plans, building on staff strengths and mentor multi-disciplinary talent, in line with professional development of the staff
- Collaborate with Perfumers on fragrance creation and technology solutions to deliver winning fragrance creations on key categories
- Consistently drives process, discipline and effective execution to bring the desired speed to market including perfumery and application laboratories
- Conducts trend research, market analysis and consumer preference on consumer products in ASEAN region
- Ensure fragrance library is up to date and efficiently promoted in the region
Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, Consumer Studies, Product Research, Chemical or any other relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the industry in an international environment
- Has an excellent olfactive communication skill so as to support the overall creative process – discriminate, describe (association) and odour memory
- Has deep knowledge of fragrance materials and technologies
- Has experience in leading a team or possess management experience
- Team player with ability to motivate others so as to achieve results and execute strategic plan effectively
- Other language proficiency is a plus, on top of fluency in the command of English language
