ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Project description The European Union is looking into creating EU-wide cross-border public services using blockchain technology. To achieve this complex goal, they have established European Blockchain Services Infrastructure and enabled all European blockchain companies to compete to become a part of it. There are three phases in total, and our client has become the finalist participating in the last phase and presenting its product called Relational Blockchain Nebula (RBN). Our client demonstrated the potential for Relational Blockchain Nebula (RBN) to address two important use cases: Digital Product Passports and Intellectual Property Rights. Phase 2B is about finalizing the use cases and testing the blockchain to prove that we can become THE blockchain for the EU. It is a chance to become a part of the team building THE blockchain that will be used by millions of Europeans in the future.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The key for each of these positions: The candidate should have experience of working with Java or Kotlin, as well as SQL. As the project is fully based on relational blockchain, the person will have to be flexible enough to learn the Rell language in a short period of time. It is also important to keep in mind that the person should be able to read large amounts of information and write reports on the work conducted. Thus, it should be a profile that would combine a developer with a theory-interested person capable of taking on challenges.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE:
- For the DPP use case, 2 people will be developing the backend and front end for the use case and possibly a scanning application and testing it afterward. The DPP use case is built in Rell language.
- For the IPR use case, 2 people will be developing the backend and front end of the use case which is essentially a marketplace. The IPR use case is built in Rell language.
REQUIREMENTS;
- 7+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer
- Languages and frameworks: Java or Kotlin, SQL, PostgresSQL, Android
- Methods & Processes: Agile Methods, Test-Driven Development
- Knowledge of testing tools
- Architecture & platforms: AWS; Google Cloud; Rest; Docker
