Full Stack Developer

Our detectORE™ product is now sold into more than 43 countries on six continents within a few years of launch. We were awarded “Overall Winner – Western Australia Innovator of the Year, 2023”. We are fully funded for growth and the company recently acquired Block 10 Mining Technologies adding new product lines and capabilities.

We are looking for a keen full stack engineer — Capable on frontend to backend to database to that tricky deployment — Let's talk.

We're a friendly software team building technology that's shaking up the global gold industry, and we're looking for an experienced developer to help us build, improve and look after production systems people genuinely rely on. You'll have ownership of your work, the freedom to make sound technical calls, and a supportive crew around you spanning software, product, operations and support.

The basics

– Regular head-office attendance preferred; satellite-office arrangements considered for outstanding candidates.

– Solid commercial experience as a full stack developer — you've shipped and supported real systems.

What you'll be doing

– Building, maintaining and improving full stack apps across frontend, backend and mobile (Flutter & Dart).

– Designing, querying and optimising PostgreSQL databases, and building backend services, APIs and integrations.

– Owning complex installs and deployments — multi-step config, dependencies and the inevitable troubleshooting.

– Diagnosing and resolving tricky issues across app, database, infrastructure and deployment layers.

– Shaping architecture, code quality and performance — and documenting it clearly as you go.

– Collaborating with product, design, ops and support, reviewing code and lending a hand to fellow developers.

What we're hoping you'll bring

– Confident, clear communicator — you can walk others through a technical problem, the options on the table (with pros and cons), and the reasoning behind your final decision.

– Real depth in Flutter/Dart, strong PostgreSQL/SQL, and confident API design with modern backend frameworks.

– Experience with complex software installations, deployments or system-level configuration.

– A good grip on authentication, permissions, data security and application performance.

– The instinct to debug difficult problems anywhere in the stack, plus Git and modern workflows.

– Experience Exposure to geology, mineral exploration or early-stage mine development
