FX Confirmations & Settlements Manager

You manage the end-to-end foreign exchange confirmation and settlement process, ensuring market deadlines and internal service-level agreements are met. You coordinate with front-office, compliance, finance, claims, information technology, risk, and technology stakeholders; lead operating-model and infrastructure transformation; oversee controls, vendors, audits, regulatory changes, payments, securities, and workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end FX confirmation and settlement process
• Liaise with front-office, compliance, finance, claims, and IT teams
• Lead the transformation toward a standardized operating model and new technology infrastructure
• Participate in ISO 20022, TD+1, and other bank-wide initiatives
• Deliver cash payments and securities accurately and on time
• Strengthen the risk and control environment across global teams
• Partner with Technology to deliver an end-to-end workflow solution
• Support change-the-bank and run-the-bank projects
• Oversee vendors and ensure adherence to regulatory and market changes
• Partner with ERM and compliance teams on resilience and control assurance
• Support audits and operational risk and compliance policies

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of securities, settlements, claims, rates, treasury products, and related financial attributes
• Front-to-back knowledge of foreign exchange confirmations, settlements, systems, markets, and instruments
• Hands-on experience managing Interbank, Corporate, CLS, and CLS_NET settlements
• Working knowledge of settlement and payment departments and payment lifecycle
• Familiarity with ION, GTSS, Bloomberg, FXALL, SWIFT, and Misys
• Knowledge of global markets, custody, cash management, and payment systems
• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry
• NCFM or CISI certification
• Knowledge of macros, SQL, and Microsoft Access database queries
• Finance or commerce-related degree preferred
