General Counsel
You lead the legal function, negotiate complex commercial agreements with regulated U.S. banks and service providers, coordinate contract reviews across internal stakeholders, manage legal and regulatory risk, advise on payments, tokenization, and digital assets, and build contracting infrastructure and external counsel relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-volume contract negotiations with regulated U.S. banks and third-party service providers
- Coordinate contract reviews across risk and compliance, finance, product, and technology stakeholders
- Support contracting needs across internal teams
- Standardize legal templates, playbooks, and processes
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risk
- Advise on bank payments, tokenization, and digital assets
- Build contracting infrastructure and external counsel relationships
Requirements
- U.S.-based with ability to travel
- J.D.
- Active membership in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar
- 10+ years of relevant legal experience
- Commercial contract negotiation with highly regulated U.S. banks or financial institutions
- High-volume contract negotiation
