General Insurance Manager

Position Title: General Insurance Manager Employment Type: Full Time Salary: up to 10,000 AED inclusive depending on experience and qualifications Job Location: Dubai, UAE About the Client: A leading UAE-based insurance brokerage providing customized insurance and risk management solutions for individuals and businesses across diverse industries - Review underwriting submissions, approve quotes, and manage portfolios across multiple insurance lines. - Lead and mentor underwriting teams, allocate workloads, conduct training, and ensure quality control of quotations, policies, and documentation. - Manage negotiations with insurers, support client meetings and renewals, and handle escalations. - Oversee policy issuance and compliance with CBUAE regulations, analyse market trends, and support sales team.

Qualifications: - Male candidates, preferably Asians, aged between 35- 45 years old - Minimum 10+ years of experience in General Insurance Underwriting, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role (UAE brokers Experience Min 4 to 5 years) - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field - Strong technical knowledge across Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, Motor Fleet, and SME lines & Professional certifications (e.g., CII) are an advantage.
