General Manager
Description: Aramark Sports & Entertainment seeks a dynamic General Manager to oversee our food & beverage operations for University of Virginia Athletics!
As a General Manager, you'll strategically plan, manage, and lead multiple F&B services generating $7M+ revenue. Your role involves achieving operational and financial goals, meeting client objectives, and exceeding customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to deliver excellent service, utilizing client knowledge, relationship-building skills, and financial acumen.
- Provide hands-on execution management of contracted services with a focus on safety.
- Manage client and community relationships, assess operations, and drive employee and customer satisfaction.
- Build, develop, and lead a capable management team and staff aligned with organizational objectives.
- Recommend service improvement methods, resources, and implementation based on operational needs.
- Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets and design improvements for financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, Aramark's standards, and safety protocols.
- Adapt to evolving job duties to meet commitments and positively impact employees and customers.
Candidate Must Have:
- 3-5 years of sports/entertainment hospitality experience
- Leadership experience
- Client Management expertise
- People Management skills
- Hands-on Food & Beverage Management experience
