General Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager (GM) for Construction to lead all aspects of our construction operations. The GM will oversee project execution, strategic planning, budgeting, client relations, and team performance to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong business acumen, construction management expertise, and the ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all construction projects and teams.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve company goals and growth targets.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution to ensure quality and profitability.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with estimating, procurement, engineering, and finance departments to optimize performance.
• Monitor and report on project performance metrics and company financial health.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, site supervisors, and other key staff.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in processes, safety, and sustainability.
