Golang Engineer – High-load oRTB Systems
Requirements
3+ years of professional experience with Go, including building and operating high-load backend systems
Strong Linux experience (Debian / Ubuntu)
Solid practical knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
Experience with in-memory data stores (Redis, Aerospike)
Proven track record designing and running distributed systems and high-throughput services
Experience building microservices (APIs, patterns, background/asynchronous processing)
Experience developing REST, GraphQL, and gRPC APIs
Solid understanding of KISS, DRY, SOLID principles and common design patterns
Practical experience with event-driven architectures
Experience with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred)
Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning
Fast learner with a strong drive to continuously acquire new knowledge
Nice to Have
Experience with ClickHouse
Experience designing GraphQL and gRPC APIs
Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, NATS)
Scripting experience (Python, Bash)
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain high-load distributed systems (500k+ RPS) using Go
Own backend features end-to-end — from design and implementation through deployment
Analyze performance metrics and identify bottlenecks; continuously tune services for maximum efficiency and reliability
Collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality features and resolve production issues
Conduct thorough code reviews focused on readability, correctness, testability, and performance
Define and implement testing strategies (unit, integration, and performance testing)
Stay current with relevant technologies (including big-data processing) and make informed decisions on technology adoption
Play a critical role in a fast-growing product’s development and delivery processes
